We like to use a team of Toggenburg dairy goat bucks to reinforce positve dairy goat traits using related lines. This has proven successful for us. We also like to use young bucks heavily and then not use them for a year until their daughters freshen. All of our breeding bucks have the same linear appraisals as our does.

Andros is extremely long, tall, and dairy. He is the son of the two time NGCH Cherry Glen Tristin Ayla 2*M who is also the only doe in the country to classify 94. His daughters inherit his traits and we are very pleased with their 2007 linear appraisal scores. His three yearling daughters were appraised with Fjola 89, Arcelia 88, and Freja 84, all very respectable scores for yearlings. Two-year old first freshener Velvet went 89. The appraiser stated that he couldn’t appraise her higher as she was a first freshener. His two 07 kids Flirt-W-Me and Flurry are large, long and deep. We are looking forward to bringing them out in 08.

Falcone looks to be one of the most exciting bucks we have bred since his sire Cornerstone. He has his mother's extreme width, depth and levelness over the topline. He also has one of the widest, most level rumps I have seen in a buck. He has passed on many of these characteristics to his daughters. Falcone has been BBIS eight times.

Fulcrum is linebred on both Wrevenge and Le Fluer. His littermate sisters are beautiful. His littermate sister Fable has done very well this year. Finch aborted in 07 but is also very nice and is bred for 08.

Doner’s pedigree is very impressive. His dam was the Reserve National Best Udder at the 2003 Nationals as a nine year old. His sire is out of the two time National Champion Toggenburg (Madame Razz) and his sire is also the sire of 2004 National Champion and 2007 Reserve National Champion (Madison), another lovely doe. Doner daughters are dark in color, very wide, powerful animals with excellent feet and level toplines. His udders so far have been on young does but they are capacious with correctly placed teats. We have also noticed that his daughters are very friendly and easy to handle and show. Hid 06 daughter Fleta was the Reserve National Junior Toggenburg Champion in 2006. Doner was not used this fall because he was on loan to Cherry Glen Farm.

Tilden is truly beautiful and reminds us a lot of a younger Falcone. He took some time to adjust to the move last fall and we didn’t have any kids out of him this past spring. We have several does bred to him and are eagerly awaiting for their arrival. We were impressed with the very nice milking daughters in the Cherry Glen herd.

We bought Larkon sight unseen based on his linebred sire whose genetics would fit well in with our F-Line and the strength and reputation of his dam line. The does behind his sire represent the best of Tansy Hill. His dam is at least a third generation GCH and goes back to some wonderful animals who were a cross between Sunshine and Stonebrook lines. When we picked him up, we were not disappointed. We did not get a chance to use him much because we had Bailey but plan on showing him and will have plans for him this fall.

Bandit was purchased because he is totally Little Creek breeding and we admired the level, smoothly blended Little Creek animals. We felt that they would cross well with our very dairy, milky stock. We have not been disappointed so far.

Flashpoint's dam Fayleen was so admired that we decided to breed her to Tristin. She is a very wedge shaped doe who moves with a certain grace and style. She has an exceptionally level topline and rump. Flashpoint's littermate Forget Me Not classified 87 as a yearling and is owned by Cherry Glen Farms. Flashpoint's doe kids have that same style as Fayleen but are more smoothly blended.

Alchemy is extremely sharp, dairy and long throughout. He especially has a long lean neck, level rump and back. He has very correct leg set and an open escutcheon. He was not used much this fall due to some of the exciting older bucks we had available.

Attilla’s dam is the full sister to the 2005 and 2006 National Champion Toggenburg and 3X best udder of breed. His dam was also (2nd place two year old milker at the 2007 Nationals) as a first freshener. This past spring we visited the Cherry Glen Farm to pick up a buck out of Krystal Kreek Falcone Alyssum and we were extremely impressed with Aymora who had only been fresh for about a week or so. We were elated to find out she had a buck kid available and brought him home. He is a super friendly buck, very sharp and clean throughout, with a beautiful rump.

Alcott reminds us a lot of his grandsire Falcone. He is an extremely powerful, deep bodied buckling while maintaining flatness and openness throughout. He has a beautiful flat wide rump with correct leg set.

We liked Bailey so much that when we visited this spring that we made arrangements for Cherry Glen to use Doner and us to use Bailey. We really admire the smoothness of blending from the neck to the shoulders in this buck. We bred him to a number of does.
